General Terms and Conditions for Artwork Delivery
Each artwork is packaged by the artist or by Art Investissement according to a very precise set of specifications provided by Art Investissement, in order to guarantee optimal protection of the ordered artwork during transport.
For each artwork ordered, we select the most suitable carrier for the type of artwork, with the constant aim of optimizing its protection throughout the entire transport process.
Each shipment is tracked and insured up to the value of the artwork.
Shipping costs (excluding customs fees) are passed on to the buyer.
You will be notified by email of the date your package is shipped and will be able to track its progress via a tracking link.
Our packages are delivered directly to you, requiring a signature upon delivery.
If you are not home at the time of delivery, a delivery notice will allow you to collect the package from the post office or the nearest partner pickup point, depending on the carrier. If your order includes several works by the same artist, they will be delivered together in one shipment, in one or more packages depending on the specific nature of the artworks.
If your order includes several works by different artists, each artist will receive a separate delivery with a different tracking number.
Despite all the precautions taken by the artists and our team to ensure the protection of the artworks throughout the delivery process, it is possible that the package may arrive damaged.
Upon receiving your package, please take the time to check its condition in the presence of the delivery person.
If you notice that the packaging is damaged, please indicate this on the delivery slip or even refuse the package depending on its condition. Take photos; these will help us support your claim with the carrier.
Please do not hesitate to inform us of the situation via contact@artinvestissement.com or by phone at +33 6 80 46 65 74. We will contact the carrier and offer you a solution. You have 14 days from receipt of your order to return the artwork, without having to provide a reason or pay any penalties. The price of the artwork(s) purchased and the shipping costs paid when placing your order will be fully refunded once the gallery has notified us of the artwork's return. Art Investissement will arrange the return and cover the return shipping costs (which will either be paid by you and then reimbursed by Art Investissement, or paid directly by Art Investissement). The artwork must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging (or equivalent packaging). To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send an email to the following address:
